The perceived problem

Despite operating in the UK for more than a decade, Strategic Coach had never properly broken into the UK market.

We needed to find out why UK business owners were not buying the Strategic Coach programme, so we:

Developed personas of current and potential UK clients – running a series of focus groups and individual interviews

Did a full digital audit, including keywords/phrases and SEO, and identified:

  • a lack of both brand awareness and digital presence

  • that the North American culture and approach is a barrier to the UK market

Built a bespoke UK website and created UK-specific social channels

Created new, optimised, UK-friendly web copy

Developed strategies for:

  • content – repurposing existing relevant content and creating new.

  • SEO – from a technical, on site and off site perspective

  • communications – to build awareness and generate leads

Problem solved

A month after launch:

Keywords and branded terms went from >100 to top 20 in search engine rankings

Bookings for UK events increased by 20%
